Current Research:
- Analysis of pore networks in fine grained sediments, as imaged by high resolution BIB-SEM and micro-CT techniques: 3-D reconstruction and characterization of the porosity in claystones from potential disposal sites of radioactive waste
- Numerical simulations of one- and two- phase fluid flow in these pore networks
- Developing a decision algorithm for optimization of the well design process for tight gas wells. Based on this algorithm, developing a prototype software package which can be applied to a real-life case study
